Hello! Lucky is a San Francisco-based stationer that specializes in letterpress. My friend, Stewey Freund, works there and was nice enough to give me a tour of the office and tell me about all of the fun things that they do! Aside from ready-made greeting cards, personal stationary, and invitations, they also have a talented team of designers that can customize anything your heart desires. They can make things out of paper you’ve never even dreamed of! (one bride had her invitations cut to be the shape of her home state, Idaho!) I fell in love with their quirky, fun-loving style and was impressed by their high level of customer service. See something on their site, but want it in a different color? No problem, AND no extra charge! Check out the pictures below from my tour…
They organize their invitations in these cute boxes. I wish my closet was this tidy!
Their new book, Handmade Weddings, was written in collaboration with the former senior style editor from Martha Stewart Weddings, Shana Faust. It features tons of fun and crafty DIY wedding projects, such as how to make paper garlands out of coffee filters (sounds odd, but they are super cute!) Books go on sale January 2011
One of their letterpress machines. They do all of their production in-house!
You can checkout their website at www.hellolucky.com or give them a call to set up a time to stop by their San Francisco office. Their phone number is 888-5523724 (ask for Stewey!) Happy shopping!
